Is this perhaps the shortest sentence in the Church Dogmatics? ;)
I need to look up the German. It is always possible that it is merely a clause in a much more complicated construction.

Wow, that's changed considerably. I'd have preferred the translation to be more grammatically literal, but it still reads nicely in the English, nonetheless.
